CaS in het weekend 433 / CAS in the weekend 433

Nog een CaS kaart gemaakt met het vierkanten stencil dat ik vorige maand kocht. Heerlijk veelzijdig zijn stencils zo... Dit idee zat al een tijdje in mijn hoofd en moest nu gewoon op papier gezet worden... Vandaag zijn we veel buiten om eindelijk alles in de tuin klaar te maken (alles schoon en stoelen naar buiten) om er hopelijk heel veel uren in te genieten!

Made another CAS card with the square stencil I bought last month. I love how wonderfully versatile stencils are... This is an idea that I had for a while and just had to put on paper now...

Today we will be outside a lot to make everything ready in the garden (clean all and put the chairs outside) to hopefully enjoy a whole lot of hours in it!

Dit was er nog zo een die op mijn hobbytafel lag en stukje bij beetje is afgewerkt overal tussendoor als ik tijd en zin had... heerlijk als er dan iets al klaarligt en je gelijk aan de gang kunt gaan... Dus heb ik er de afgelopen week wat aan gewerkt en het gisteren op weer een gezellige stempelmiddag afgemaakt...

Wij hebben een extra lang weekend hier dat gisteren al startte en doorloopt tot en met zondag en er is warm en droog weer voorspeld... Gisteren startte al met 17 graden en voor zondag word hier 25 graden voorspeld... Dus wij hopen heel veel buiten te zijn en te genieten!

This was again one that stayed on my crafts table so I could work on it bit by bit when I fancied it inbetween all the other things... It is so nice to have something laying ready and that you can start on it immediately... So I worked on it last week and finished it yesterday on again a fun stamping afternoon...

We have a long weekend here (yesterday , today and the actual weekend) and the fore cast is warm weather starting the first day with 17 degrees and ending Sunday on a possible 25 degrees, so we hope to be outside a lot and enjoy it!

Aan het water / By the water

Vaak heb ik een project op mijn hobbytafel liggen waar ik in de loop van een week aan werk. Dit was er een die niet op een donderdag meegegaan is, maar is blijven liggen om af te werken als ik tussendoor even wat ontspanning zocht... En dan opeens was deze af...

I often have a project laying on my craft table on wich I work during the week. This was one that didn't gone with me on a Thursday, but instead I left it to work on when I could use some 'me'-time... And than suddenly it is finished...

Tijd is elke keer anders / Time is different each moment...

Heerlijk is dat; ben ik aan het bladeren in mijn achtergrondendoos en zie ik daar een papier met daarop deze collage stempel. Die paste precies bij mijn gedachte dat de tijd veel te snel ging die donderdagmiddag... Dus heb ik deze ingekleurd en voorzien van een hoek door een al oudere 'golf'-stempel twee keer af te drukken. Een kleine herinnering aan hoe veel te snel de tijd gaat als je leuke dingen doet....

Lovely; I was going through my background box and saw a paper with already stamped on this collage stamp. That fitted my thoughts; thinking that time went on too quickly this Thursday afternoon... So I coloured it and stamped a corner with an old 'wave'-stamp by stamping it twice. A small reminder on how quick time goes when you are having fun...

Pauw op een tak / Peacock on a branch

In mijn achtergronden doos vond ik een stuk papier met daarop inkt door een pauwenveer stencil gespoten. Mooie kleuren, maar niet het hele stuk had herkenbare pauwenveren. Dus heb ik het in 2-en gesneden om te gebruiken met een uitgestanste pauw die ik met inkt gekleurd heb. Ik stempelde nog wat takken en kleurde die met een paars potlood, plakte de pauw en de tekst erop en zocht thuis nog wat letters in bijpassende kleuren voor het 2e woord. Zo heb je een mooi startpunt om iets te gaan maken en ontstaat de kaart/Art Journal page terwijl je bezig bent...

En het andere stuk van het papier? Ik heb nog geen idee wat ik ermee ga maken, dus dat zie je een andere keer...

In my box with backgrounds I found a piece of paper with some ink on it sprayed through a peacock stencil. Beautiful colours, but not the whole piece had peacock feathers on it. So I cut the piece in half to use with the die-cut peacock and that I coloured with ink. I stamped some branches and coloured them with a purple pencil, glued the peacock and the text on it. Back home I looked for some letters in fitting colours for the 2nd word. This way you have a great starting point to make something and the card/ Art Journal page will grow  while you are at it...

And the other piece of the paper? I have no idea what I am going to make with it, so you will see about that another time...

CaS in het weekend 432 / CAS in the weekend 432

Op een van de donderdagmiddagen weer eens een CaS-kaart gemaakt. Dit keer met een stencil een vierkant getekend, wat al gestanstte takjes en een pauw uit een doos gezocht en van veel kleur voorzien met een kwast, veel water en DO inkt. Als laatste nog een tekst erop geplaatst. Dacht dat deze wel een goede was voor de internationale scrapdag die vandaag is...

On one of the fun Thursday afternoons I made a CAS card again. This time I draw a squire with a stencil, took some die-cut branches and a peacock from a box and coloured them with a brush, a lot of water and DO ink. Finally I placed a text on it. Thought that this one was a good one for the international scrapday that is today...

Vogels / Birds

Op een van die Aprildagen dat het dan weer bewolkt en dan weer zonnig was hoorde ik 's ochtends de vogels fluiten in de tuin. Dat inspireerde me deze kaart te maken...

Ik heb heerlijk met kwast en water en DO alles kleurgegeven en binnen de cirkel en rond de tak nog gesponsd.

On one of those April days when it was cloudy one moment and sunny the next moment I heard the birds chirping in the garden in the morning. That inspired me te make this card...

I had a good time colouring all with a brush and water and DO and sponged a bit in the circle and around the branch.
